About Amber

Amber Quinn was born and raised in Honaunau, Hawaii. She started gymnastics and ballet at age 3. She became a junior olympic qualified gymnast at age 12 and also suffered an injury at that age which eliminated gymnastics from her future. She went on to study dance in Boulder, Colorado at Motion Underground Dance Studio. Amber lived in NYC studying various types of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. Amber went on to live in LA and she danced with Black Eyed Peas National Concert Tour, Gwen Stephani “Harajuku Lovers” Party/Concert, and Nelly Furtado as a principal dancer. Amber has been in various fitness tv shows and DVDs during her time in LA and Hawaii. In pursuit of academics, Amber moved home to Hawaii to get her BS in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from UH Manoa. After experiencing her major gymnastics injury in HS, she became very interested in the study of the human body, its response to rehab, exercise, and nutrition. She has her Balanced Body Pilates Reformer Certification as well as, ACE and NACM personal training certifications, Zumba, and created the first HOT Pilates Sculpt class in Honolulu. She is excited to be teaching a variety of class formats at Club Pilates and sharing her passion for fitness and wellness as she continues her education for her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in Colorado.
