I am a flower farmer! I own a small flower farming/floral business called Pure Pollen Flowers. I grow flowers at Fox Hollow Farm and sell them at markets, weddings, and other events. I am also a musician and play in several bands around town. Very rewarding. This will be my 5th year teaching Pilates, but I have been doing Pilates on and off for 10. I started doing Pilates through a suggestion from a friend and I ended up finding a mentor in my instructor and loved what was happening to my body. After years on and off she convinced me to take the plunge and get certified. I got certified in May, Chair, Cadillac and Reformer through Pilates Sports Center through a studio here in Louisville and have since gotten certifications in pregnancy Pilates, jump board and MOTR since then. "Everyone is the architect of their own happiness" Joseph Pilates is my mantra. Every little bit of that is true. Exercise is often over looked as a method for treating depression and motivating change in life. The clarity and power that comes to your brain from exercising your body can be life changing. Flower, Pilates and Music makes for a pretty good life.
