Denise is PHI certified, trained in the Pilates Method, as well as NASM (f/k/a AFAA) trained in Group Exercise, Personal Training, Spinning and PowerPump. She is also certified in Booty Barre. Denise has been teaching Group Exercise for over 35 years and practicing and teaching Pilates for over 17 years. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, she is an expert motivator who encourages students to foster respect for their bodies while overcoming perceived limitations. Her passion is anatomy and sharing the benefits of understanding and knowing how to work your body. “As Joseph Pilates said, “Change happens with movement and movement heals.” She is thrilled to have the opportunity to help clients grasp and practice Joseph Pilates’ concepts. She says. “I am overjoyed when clients tell me they’ve noticed their posture has improved, have less aches and pains, sleep better, have more energy – all from Pilates!” In her spare time she enjoys worldwide travel to immerse and experience different cultures, reading, and paddleboarding.
