I was introduced to Pilates in 2021 after researching the perfect exercise fit for me, and so I fell in love with the mind-body connection, the active stretches, and the focus on spinal mobility in every class. Pilates also supported my studies in muscle anatomy and biomechanics while earning my Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in Tijuana, B.C., where I would analyze my movements to understand which muscles were engaged. Having grown up doing gymnastics and later pursuing a career in movement and physical rehabilitation, becoming a Pilates instructor felt like a natural next step. I love how Pilates makes me feel strong and healthy! I truly believe it's an amazing way to build strength, flexibility, and prevent injuries. In my free time, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, reading, hiking, watching movies, or training in aerial acrobatics on the Lyra Hoop!
