Helen is comprehensively certified through Merithew/STOTT Pilates. Educated in both Korea and the U.S., holding a BA in History from Reed College and an MA in International Relations from Yale University. Her diverse background including work as an investment banker, editor, translator, teacher, and volunteer gives her a deep understanding of the physical and mental demands her clients face. Helen fell in love with Pilates later in life as a way to relieve lower back pain and complement her weight training and boxing practice. She enjoys working with clients to improve strength, alignment, and mobility, with a strong focus on mindful, functional movement that supports everyday life. Helen believes that small, sustainable changes can have a big impact on long-term health and fitness. Helen’s favourite class to teach is Reformer Flow, at all levels. She loves helping clients build a strong foundation and watching their strength and mindfulness grow as they move through the levels.
