Kim has always been involved in some form of exercises such as gymnastics, dance, athletics, and swimming. After completing her BA in sports science and biokinetics in South Africa she discovered pilates. She trained and got certified in the classical NY method in South Africa in 2006. She then moved to the United Kingdom where she gained her comprehensive certification through BASI (Body Arts and Science International) pilates. She and her husband moved to the Carolinas in 2013 and love it! With two young daughters, Kim finds movement an essential part of life and enjoys teaching classes that incorporate both strength and flexibility, flow and balance.
