About Leah

Leah discovered her love for sports, health, and wellness when she was just 5 years old. Starting her 17-year career as a fastpitch softball player at such a young age gave Leah the opportunity to compete in games and national tournaments with the elite. She eventually received a scholarship to attend UC Davis where she later graduated with a B.S. in Human Development. With the knowledge and background acquired over the years from mentors and colleagues, Leah was looking to expand her scope of physical activity when she came across Club Pilates Bakersfield. After one session, Leah became an active member at Club Pilates and eventually took the Teacher Training Course offered. She loved the diversity of each class, the mental clarity it provides, and the modifications readily available for her many chronic injuries she's endured throughout her time as an athlete. Pilates has changed her life, and she can't wait to continue her career with Club Pilates to further deepen her love and understanding of movement.
