About Maria

Maria believes that her Pilates practice has truly transformed her physically and mentally, and set her on a path to improved quality of life and graceful aging. So much so, that she wanted to become a Pilates instructor and share her passion with others. Maria recently retired from an over 40+ year career as a registered nurse which fuels her desire to encourage proactive self-care and restorative approaches to maintain wellness. Maria describes her style as empowering and adaptive which considers all clients as individuals and meets them wherever they are in their practice. Maria is married and has 3 children and 9 grandchildren. She strongly believes that the strength, endurance and flexibility she has gained from her Pilates practice allows her to maintain an active lifestyle and keep up with the grandkids that range in age from infants to teenagers!
