Hi, I’m Mattaya! I’ve always loved movement and discovered Pilates while traveling in Asia, where it quickly became a practice I couldn’t live without. After experiencing burnout from other fitness modalities, Pilates helped me reconnect with my body in a way that felt supportive, strong, and sustainable. That experience made completing my comprehensive teacher training through Club Pilates an easy decision. I bring high energy to my classes, with a focus on functional movement patterns, time under tension, and connection to breath. I love creating space for clients to feel strong, curious, and connected to their bodies as they move. My favourite part of teaching is the click—that moment when a cue finally lands and an exercise suddenly makes sense. Those small victories and new-found connections to the body make teaching so rewarding! Outside the studio, you’ll usually find me golfing, spending time with my two dogs, or cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
