About Maya

Growing up, I was always surrounded by fitness as my mom was a personal trainer and Pilates instructor. She influenced me to be interested in health and fitness which led me to a job as a front desk associate for Club Pilates in Northwest Arkansas. Watching classes from the front desk and seeing the changes people made through Pilates was very inspiring to me. I decided to go through teacher training and became a comprehensive Pilates instructor in 2021. I have loved teaching in Arkansas, and I am excited to continue teaching in Kansas City while I go through pharmacy school. Outside of teaching or taking classes, I love to lift weights and spend time with my family.
