Megan was born with severe asthma which prevented her from doing any sort of “cardio” exercise as a child…until she realized “cardio” (the one thing she was not supposed to do/not able to do) was the one thing she NEEDED to do!! She started running little bits at a time, just as much as she could, but most importantly, she did not stop, effectively running the asthma out of her! She no longer needed any of her inhalers as she got her cardiovascular exercise in. This showed her the absolute importance of just TRYING and never giving up! She ran cross country and track all throughout high school, and has been a Bikram yoga teacher since 2010, a dedicated Pilates and TRX teacher and practitioner since 2015, and a Lagree teacher and enthusiast since 2019! Megan loves that there is always more to learn, practice, accomplish, and share. One of her absolute favorite parts of teaching is when clients start to see and feel the differences in themselves. It’s the most encouraging and rewarding thing- for herself as a teacher and them as a client/ practitioner!! If Megan had one specialty, she would say it is finding each individuals limits and then pushing those limits a lil bit further away each and every time she sees them, making them incrementally and consistently stronger, resulting in everlasting change. Always remember: "whether you think you can or you think your can't- you're right"!! Fun fact: If/when Megan is not teaching, she is either exploring foreign lands, at a concert, or on a cross country road trip!
