Monica is a Balanced Body comprehensively trained Pilates instructor. She started teaching Pilates after falling in love with the way Pilates creates balance in the body using mindfulness to connect and build different levels of strength and flexibility. She is passionate about using Pilates to strengthen and balance the mind and body to help prevent injuries as well as to cope with any chronic pain due to past physical or mental trauma. Monica’s personal teaching philosophy is that Pilates is a tool that both instructor and clients use together to work towards lifestyle and fitness goals. When she is not teaching she enjoys reading mystery novels set in Victorian-era England and watching Antiques Roadtrip UK with her partner and their two dogs.
