I came to Pilates after injuring myself lifting weights and experiencing chronic pain, despite chiropractic and physical therapy treatments. I initially thought I'd only take a few classes before returning to weight lifting but found relief, improved posture, and increased strength and flexibility through Pilates, allowing me to lift pain-free. Inspired by my transformation, I decided to deepen my practice and became a Pilates instructor to share the benefits of Pilates with others and advocate that Pilates is for everybody.
