My Pilates journey started when I met my wife Ali in 2000… I thought I was fit until I took my first class from her… I was blown away how hard it was! I could see the benefits of using Pilates to further my athletic pursuits of surfing, mountain biking and rock climbing. After 6 months of taking classes I decided that I wanted to spread my Pilates knowledge to other athletes. I started my path then to becoming an instructor, learning how to teach mat work first, then all the equipment. Over the years I have taken lots of different classes and certifications that I felt were useful additions to making my Pilates teaching more creative, useful and fun. Yoga, Functional Movement, TRX and Bosu trainings are some the modalities I draw from. I really believe the foundation of Pilates, Breath, Core and Posture are the most important aspects of the work. I also really enjoy making people laugh and try not to take things to serious.
