About Samantha

Samantha (Sam) Emelock obtained her Pilates Certification through Club Pilates in 2021 and began teaching the same year at several Club Pilates locations across Florida’s Gulf Coast. Originally from Downers Grove, Illinois - and now residing on the North Shore - Sam was drawn to Club Pilates after three decades of competitive and professional figure skating. As a competitive ice dancer, coach and performer with Disney On Ice, Sam has always found Pilates to be a fascinating balance between movement and physiology. Being able to bring its benefits to a broader community has felt particularly rewarding for her and what she enjoys most about the Club Pilates approach to fitness. When not in the studio teaching, Sam works full-time as a content marketing manager, coaches learn to skate, and enjoys spending time outdoors (in the snow or sun) with her husband, Aaron, and dog, Dunkin.
