About Samantha

Samantha (Sam) Emelock obtained her National Pilates Certification (NCPT) in 2026 and Comprehensive Certification through Club Pilates in 2021. Originally from Downers Grove, Illinois - and now residing on the North Shore of MA - Sam was drawn to Pilates after three decades of competitive and professional figure skating. As a competitive ice dancer, coach, and performer with Disney On Ice, Sam has always found Pilates to be a fascinating balance between movement and physiology. Bringing the benefits of contemporary Pilates to a broader audience through Club Pilates has been particularly rewarding. As the Education Coordinator for the Boston-area Club Pilates studio, Sam also supports the continuing education needs of our instructors and mentors upcoming teacher trainees as they navigate their certifications. When not in the studio, Sam coaches learn-to-skate and enjoys spending time outdoors (in the snow or sun) with her husband, Aaron, and dog, Dunkin.
