Hi! I’m Sharon. My journey with Pilates began 10+ years ago using mat pilates as a way to build core strength, and I instantly fell in love with how effective it was. I joined Club Pilates (Whiskey Mill) when it opened in 2023 and not only renewed my love for mat pilates but I fell in love with equipment-based pilates and the benefits of Pilates beyond core strength. When teacher training opened up, I was drawn to pursue it because of the profound changes that I felt in my own body. I knew that I wanted to be a part of that journey for other people. I completed Club Pilates’ 500-hour Comprehensive Teacher Training Program in 2024 and began teaching shortly after. Since then I have also earned the Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) designation. I am so excited to be a part of helping clients build overall strength through a consistent Pilates practice but I have a special interest in hypermobility disorders and pelvic floor health. I am passionate about making Pilates accessible to everyone, regardless of fitness level, age, or injuries & limitations. I want to create an approachable environment free of judgement where clients are encouraged to move their bodies in a way that serves them best. My classes focus on building foundational core strength, improving mobility, and finding joy in movement. Outside of the studio, I enjoy furthering my personal Pilates practice and expanding my Pilates teaching education by taking various workshops. I also love hiking, kayaking, classic rock, and spending time with family and friends. I can't wait to help you feel stronger and more confident in your own body!
