Sonja Anderson-Struzzo is an experienced personal fitness trainer who specializes in Pilates for life and sport. A California native, Sonja grew up with a passion to develop her physique and sports performance, actually inspiring her high school’s first ever women’s weight training program. This passion for fitness became a career as she joined the staff at an exclusive Los Angeles golf and country club where she trained athletes, executives, retirees and housewives alike. In her quest to help her clients look, move and feel their absolute best, she discovered the remarkable benefits of the Classical Pilates Method and never looked back. She loves to lead her students through a transformational journey using the Pilates Principles to dramatically improve posture, flexibility, mobility, body composition and athleticism. She is especially excited to join Club Pilates to share this work in an exciting and encouraging group setting! Sonja’s certifications and specialties include, Peak Pilates Level I Instructor, National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Hole in One Fitness/Pilates for Golf Coach-Advanced Levels, Fellow of Applied Functional Science - Gray Institute, TRX Suspension Training and Nike Golf Performance Specialist.
