With a lifelong passion for movement, Tara began her journey in gymnastics at a young age, where she developed an understanding of body mechanics, strength, flexibility, and coordination. This history instilled a profound respect for the mind-body connection, which became the cornerstone of her approach to Pilates. After decades of coaching competitive and recreational gymnastics, Tara discovered Pilates as a way to enhance strength and mobility while preventing injury. The transition has been natural as Tara saw personal improvements in flexibility, balance, and alignment. Tara’s goal in teaching is to emphasize the importance of mindful movement, with greater ease, confidence, and body awareness. Outside of the studio, Tara enjoys time with family and friends. She enjoys skiing, boating, and travel. Her goal is to inspire others to embrace the transformative power of Pilates in a way that supports long-term health and wellness.
