After my pregnancy, I felt a disconnect with my body and muscles. Even though I didn't always enjoy fast-paced workouts, I did a lot of HIIT and cardio to get back to myself. It wasn't until I did my first Pilates class that my body truly felt like home again. I could engage muscles I never thought I had, and it was empowering! I love that Pilates meets me where I'm at, and I can always just show up exactly as I am. As a yoga teacher since 2015, I love the body awareness and benefits that come from connecting breath with movement. Favourite Pilates pose: Eves Lunge. Fun fact: I love making French macarons, and for a while, I had a bakery out of my home. Aha moment: movement doesn't always have to be fast-paced and daunting. If it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't what's right for "you." It's been so rewarding to find movement and a community that feels good for my soul, and I'm so excited to share that with you!
